Juli, wurde eine Radfahrerin in der H\u00f6lzlgasse von einem Autofahrer \u00fcbersehen und kam zu Tode. Ein Ghostbike, ein wei\u00df lackiertes Fahrrad, erinnerte bis zuletzt an die Verstorbene und mahnte gleichzeitig zu mehr Vor- und R\u00fccksicht im Stra\u00dfenverkehr. Nach Beschwerden musste es jetzt weichen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vor einigen Wochen wurde das Ghostbike, nach einer Winterpause, durch die Radlobby erneut aufgestellt. Es h\u00e4tte bis September stehen bleiben sollen, w\u00e4ren nicht ausgerechnet eine Woche vor dem Jahrestag des Unfalls Proteste aus der Bev\u00f6lkerung laut geworden. Vordergr\u00fcndig wegen der reduzierten Gehsteigbreite wurde der Gemeinde zuletzt gar mit einer Dienstaufsichtsbeschwerde gedroht. \u201eEs gibt eine Gruppe radikaler Radverkehrsgegner, die sich auch bei uns beschwert hat,&#8221; sagt Radlobby-Sprecher Werner Palfinger. \u201eDie Familie der Verstorbenen hat das Ghostbike sehr gesch\u00e4tzt, wie wahrscheinlich die Mehrheit der Klosterneuburger.\u201c Schlie\u00dflich gab die Gemeinde den Beschwerden nach und erzwang die Entfernung des Rades durch die Radlobby. Palfinger: \u201eIch h\u00e4tte mir da mehr Standhaftigkeit von den Verantwortlichen erwartet.
